American Psychological Association Honors Richard Aslin

Dick AslinRichard Aslin, the William R. Kenan Professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences whose theory of “statistical learning” has helped to revolutionize the field of cognitive science, has been selected for the Distinguished Scientific Contribution Award from the American Psychological Association. Typically given to three scientists each year, the honor “recognizes distinguished theoretical or empirical contributions to basic research in psychology.” The award will be presented at the association's annual convention in August. Read more about Aslin’s research.
